Holy smokes! The nervousness and anxiety I felt leading up to this shoot was THROUGH THE ROOF! Why? Because this shoot was for a fellow phographer, Melissa, the talented lady behind the lens at Courtney Van Alice Photography! Now I am not suggesting that Melissa would be critical of me or anything, she is hardly that type of person, but to shoot for another person in the industry-- the pressure to perform was seriously on. Crazy I felt that way though, because Melissa is in fact, one of the most chill women I know and as a mom of three boys herself, I feel like we have some sort of connection or "kinship" of sorts!
Melissa's skill level insane and I didn't want to let her down in any way.... especially since, even though she is a family photographer herself, this was her FIRST family shoot! I am so glad that she contacted me to do her pictures (even if her original request was for January of 2014!) because I think we all had a great time and I LOVE the end results! Such gorgeous boys she has--- all 3, little models!

Sarah Severson - This session is one of my absolute favorites that I've seen of yours - Melissa's family looks incredible and you photographed them so beautifully. I love the variety of angles, poses, candid shots, and the overall feeling of love and happiness that comes through these images. Amazing job!

Becky Batchelor - Stephanie, these are absolutely fantastic!!!! Oh, I wish you could photograph my family!! I would die to have pictures of Sophia and I together like you have captured for Melissa. So so beautiful! Melissa, by the way, has such a gorgeous family...had to be easy :) Very well done!

Cheryl - Hi Stephanie, I just want you to know that the Nocera family photos are awesome and we can't wait to have some in our home. Melissa - OMG! You are so sweet! I was so excited to see us on the blog! I am in love with every one of these images and all the rest of them too. We picked the perfect photog for our first family photos. You know I've always admired your work since the day we met, so asking you was a no-brainer for me. And I knew since you also have 3 boys that you'd be totally at home with my 3 crazies. xoxo
