This family... swoon! They have been coming to me since big bro turned 6 months old. You know that feeling you get when you meet someone new and you really hit it off? That is how I left our first session. It was kinda like love at first sight. I just really connected with them and little guy made my job so easy. I remember laughing with his parent's SO much during our first session, at just how silly and sweet their first born was acting. He was SUCH a ham!
6 months later, we did their family pictures and the magical glow of the sun combined with their incredible love and happiness... I fell in love with them all over again.... or deeper in love. At the end of their session, I remember telling them " I really needed this," because I was in a rut with having had a few rough sessions with crabby toddlers. The shots we got were awesome-- one even made it to print this year in Chic Magazine. Needless to say, they left me on another high :-)
Next came mama's maternity pics. Amazing. This woman is one of the most gorgeous pregnant mamas I have ever seen and her belly was just perfect. Even though the clouds started rolling in as soon as we started their shoot, the shots we got are some of my absolute favorite maternity pics. Maybe it's because I loved the anticipation I could see in their faces and the emotion mom felt about the changes ahead for her first born. Or maybe it's because I could see what great parents they are to Little W. and how awesome I knew they would be at having two boys. Whatever it was, this made 3 shoots in a row with them that left me loving my job more than ever before. At our shoot, Dad even ran and scaled a huge hay bale and sat on top of it with his little guy, and it was cool just to watch them and know that one day it will be him with his TWO boys up there!
Jump ahead about 7 weeks and here we are. Baby A arrived and he fits right in to their beautiful family. These 4 are in for so many great times together <3
